BENSON iMOH
Benson Imoh is an Experience Designer (xD) and Software Engineer.
He has vast experience in the field of Design and Engineering. He is highly skilled at design systems, automation, and customer experience (CX) engineering. He blends engineering and design to creatively and efficiently solve everyday problems for individuals and businesses using new and experimental ideas and methods; seeking smarter and newer ways to do old things while saving time and resources at the same time.
His artistic taste and penchant for details, structure, and management made him the choice person to work with by various high-profile clients as Media Consultant, Art Director, Project Manager, and Creative Director.
In 2017, Benson devoted his work full-time to the African Women in Leadership Organisation – an international not-for-profit committed to changing the narrative of leadership in Africa , where he spent his time developing innovative products, managing the technical strategy, maximizing efficiency, and coordinating the various teams, operations, and individuals.
Before that, Benson served as the Creative Director of AWLO TV, Africa’s First Women WebTV in 2015.
He has stayed true to his creative inclinations by contributing to the Open Source Software Community, and he is always working on personal projects. He also supports causes that bring access to justice and social good for communities by volunteering his time and skills at fledgling and established not-for-profits like Hope Behind Bars Africa – where he built the “Connect Lawyer” app to help indigent prison inmates find legal representation by connecting them with experienced and qualified pro bono lawyers – and TGIU Africa where they use technology to efficiently power the free distribution of sanitary towels.
He is a realist with a leaning towards optimism. He is a big believer in Midwestern work ethic. He choose books over movies 9 times out of 10 and tries to find time to write and blog about productivity hacks, automation, and business. He is passionate about education.
In addition, Benson serves Toastmasters International as his club’s Charter Vice President Membership and PINAFRICA where he works to prepare young people for the ever-changing future of work.
